Almanacs are predicting a "harsh" winter for our region. Does this mean lots of snow, or frigid temps, or both?December 21st is the first day of winter. However.....it's not too late to install trees and shrubs. In fact, as long as the ground is not frozen, installs can be performed throughout the season. Plants have reached dormancy and it's the perfect time for installation and insulation of plant materials! Coming soon to our display gardens.....  We are getting ready to construct an outdoor fireplace and seating area. There is no better way to utilize your garden during the winter than to sit by a nice warm fire. Our new fireplaces have a modular core that any stone of your choice can be veneered to. Other creative features that can be added are larger mantles and seat walls off of the side.
